Specialist engineering support for restorers, collectors, and heritage vehicle projects.
We provide engineering-led solutions for classic and vintage vehicles where original components are no longer available. Our work focuses on accurate reproduction, functional reliability, and suitability for restoration, repair, and long-term use.
Each project is handled on an individual basis, working from original components, drawings, measurements, or reference material to produce parts that are technically correct and fit for purpose.
Parts Engineering for Classic Vehicles
We undertake engineering-led reproduction of automotive components that cannot be sourced through conventional suppliers. This includes components that are obsolete, damaged beyond repair, or were originally produced in limited production runs.
Each project is assessed on technical feasibility, material suitability, manufacturing method, and expected service conditions.
- Discontinued and obsolete classic car parts
- One-off and low-volume component manufacture
- Reverse engineering from original samples
- CAD-assisted design where required
- Support for restorers, collectors, and specialists
Engineering-Led, Not Catalogue Supply
We do not operate as a retail parts catalogue. Every component is treated as an engineering task, with consideration given to dimensional accuracy, material choice, and functional performance.
Where original manufacturing methods are no longer practical, modern processes are used selectively to achieve the correct outcome without compromising fit or appearance.
This approach is particularly suited to heritage vehicles, where tolerance stack-up, mounting interfaces, and visual correctness are as critical as basic functionality.
Project Assessment and Manufacture
A structured process ensures technical clarity and realistic outcomes from the outset.
Step 1 – Initial Information
Clients provide photographs, measurements, drawings, or an original part where available.
Step 2 – Technical Review
We assess feasibility, confirm manufacturing approach, and advise on materials, finish, and lead time.
Step 3 – Manufacture
Once approved, the component is produced, checked, and supplied ready for use or finishing as agreed.
Applications and Experience
Our work supports a wide range of classic automotive applications, from small mechanical and structural components through to detail parts required for accurate restoration work.
We regularly support:
- Private collectors
- Restoration specialists
- Enthusiast groups and clubs
- Low-volume heritage projects
Specialist Divisions
Alongside general engineering work, we operate dedicated specialist divisions focused on specific heritage vehicle platforms.
Mr J40
A specialist division supporting Austin J40 pedal cars, including reproduction parts and restoration support.
Tri-ang Pedal Cars
Dedicated to reproduction parts, decals, and technical information for Tri-ang pedal cars.
Accuracy, Function, and Longevity
The objective is not visual approximation, but components that fit correctly, function as intended, and support long-term service use of heritage vehicles.
Where compromises are required, they are discussed openly and agreed before manufacture.
Discuss a Component Requirement
If you have a part that cannot be sourced, or a project stalled due to an unavailable component, provide details and we will advise on the most appropriate engineering route forward.
